2025's Special Bond Fan Event: CIAO, OO7!

BondFanEvents has led 31 multiday fan events featuring actor and author meets, location tours, fine food and drink, tantalizing trivia and fun . . . and our 32nd tour will be one of our best . . . CIAO, OO7! And, rest assured, this tour will mix fascinating Bond locations with city sightseeing, plus plenty of free time for personal exploration . . .
 
Now, pay attention, OO7! You must learn to say "Ciao!" properly, like the Veneziani do. After all, "Ciao" was originally Venetian slang for both "Hello" and "Goodbye", making our 2025 BondFanEvent both HELLO, MR BOND . . . and GOODBYE, MR BOND!

So say, "Ciao, bella!" with BondFanEvents across the Italian peninsula, as we enjoy marvelous meals and lots of locations selfies . . .
Thursday, September 4. 2025: Most flights depart for CIAO, OO7! and "The Eternal City", Rome, Italy.

Friday, September 5: Arrive at FIUMICINO AIRPORT from John Gardner's WIN, LOSE OR DIE and COLD, then meet fellow fans from worldwide at our beautiful host hotel a few feet from the TIBER RIVER in the heart of Rome's historic district, before we tour the TREVI FOUNTAIN, PIAZZA COLONNA and the SPANISH STEPS, and locations from Ian Fleming's RISICO and Sebastian Faulks's DEVIL MAY CARE, refreshing at our fan celebration, the BOND BAR FANDEMONIUM.

Saturday, September 6: Tour fabulous, famous Roman sights in "The Eternal City",  including the PIAZZA NAVONA, VIA FORI IMPERIALI, the PANTHEON, and much more, along with sights from John Pearson's JAMES BOND: THE AUTHORIZED BIOGRAPHY OF OO7, John Gardner's NOBODY LIVES FOR EVER, Anthony Horowitz's FOREVER AND A DAY, DIE ANOTHER DAY and, of course, SPECTRE. You'll also have free time to explore the city from our excellent hotel location.

Sunday, September 7: Free time and/or join the group to tour sights like ST. PETER’S BASILICA and thrilling locations from John Gardner's NEVER SEND FLOWERS, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME of course, SPECTRE, before we make our way to beautiful, storied Siena, Italy.
Monday: September 8: Get ready for two dozen "horse rocking" locations from QUANTUM OF SOLACE and the world-famous PALIO DI SIENA, the astonishing horserace dating to the 14th century, from the dashing Bond pre-titles sequence, and enjoy free time, too, since our host hotel is a short stroll from the PIAZZA DEL CAMPO.

Tuesday, September 9: QUANTUM OF SOLACE locations continue with bonus locations from Ian Fleming's THRILLING CITIES, the MEDIEVAL HISTORY OF SPIES, gorgeous local sightseeing and free time to explore, plus an evening you'll remember, at a unique meal with an unusual special guest.

Wednesday, September 10: Enjoy local shopping at LA LIZZA, and astonishing art with the group at the PINACOTECA NAZIONALE, before we depart for amazing food in the stunning (or is it sinking with Bond?) city of Venice, Italy, and our gorgeously appointed GRAND CANAL BOND TOUR.
Thursday, September 11: We have days of exciting tours in Venice, "The Floating City," where Roger Moore, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig scenes are on tap, strolling to locations that beckon from MOONRAKER, TOMORROW NEVER DIES, and Christopher Wood's novelization, JAMES BOND AND MOONRAKER. And each of our Venice days will, of course, include beautiful local sights, and free time, too.

Friday, September 12: Our day includes fine food (farfalle? filletto? frutti di mare?) and fascinating fan locations from Ian Fleming's FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, John Gardner's DEATH IS FOREVER, and from that finest of spy films, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE.

Saturday, September 13: Some of the best is saved for last, with amazing locations from CASINO ROYALE, and Ian Fleming's FROM RUSSIA, WITH LOVE, before a delicious farewell meal together.

Sunday, September 14: Depart for home, with a suitcase of memories, your location photos from many Bond movies and books, and new, lifelong friendships with fellow fans from CIAO, OO7 and BondFanEvents!

To secure this tour, a minimum of 10 people must deposit $1000 per person, by December 15, 2024.

Tour deposits are nonrefundable, since many group expenses must be prepaid. If you need to cancel, you may ask a friend to replace your tour spot, and we will also work to replace you with a waitlisted guest, in an effort to refund your deposit.
